This week’s Positivity Project character strength is Kindness. Kindness helps us connect with other people and build positive relationships. We encounter opportunities every day to be kind to friends, family, and strangers. Be on the lookout for these opportunities and perform at least three random acts of kindness today.
Are you interested in robotics? In order to officially sign up, teams of 3-4 people can let Mr. TeBos know who their team members are and who their coach will be. Team registration is due by December 12th. Our season will start after winter break. (12)

The 7th grade Elks lost a heartbreaking double OT game at Boyne City with a final score of 39-35. Trailing by 10 late in the 3rd quarter Garret Godden hit a buzzer beating 3 that helped spark a comeback. After battling back in the 4th the Elks had a 3-point lead late in the 1st overtime before Boyne City hit a buzzer beating shot from near half court that sent the game to a 2nd overtime. Boyne City took an early lead there and was able to hang on for a win. Quinn Standfest led the comeback scoring 18 points, all in the 4th quarter or later, and hit 10 consecutive free throws to end the game. Matthew Barton added 6 points while Aiden Zbytowski and Harlan Prabhaker both hit a 3 for the Elks.
The 8th grade boys improved to 7-2 last night beating Boyne City 36-31. Scoring leaders were Miles Prabhaker (14) and Ian McDonald(9). The team outscored Boyne 9-1 at the foul line for the win.
